Watson Adopts “Gorilla Enterprise TV” for Corporate Communications and Marketing Campaigns

2012/03/22
TAIPEI, TaiwanCentral Watson Co., Ltd. has adopted Gorilla Technology Group’s “Enterprise TV” as a way to effectively synchronize its marketing promotions, deliver consistent corporate communication, and instantly update product advertisements.

Based on Gorilla’s leading Content Server technology, Gorilla Enterprise TV is designed using a highly scalable architecture, enabling Watson and its 250 stores across Thailand to deliver different content to different groups of staff across multiple IPTV channels. The user-friendly centralized content management platform enables administrators to save, manage, and “narrowcast” content via scheduled timetables and video-on-demand.

Gorilla Enterprise TV provides a centrally managed yet global communication platform for video content suited to all kinds of applications, including training, marketing, or delivering information updates,” said Dr Spincer Koh, CEO of Gorilla Technology Group. “Gorilla’s IP-based content server technology is perfect for companies hoping to start with a modest investment but expecting to grow, and is ideal for organizations spread across large distances, both domestically and internationally.”

By implementing Gorilla Enterprise TV, Watson receives a system that ensures easy future expansion. As the basis for a “Private Content Cloud”, Gorilla’s Content Server technology gives Watson the ability to build from a single-point corporate server based in Thailand to a multi-point connected global “Enterprise Content Cloud” to maximize the use of all content assets across each Watson subsidiary.
