Partnership to Accelerate Deployment and Development of End-to-end Broadcasting Digital MAM/Archive Solution

EMC Corporation and Gorilla Science & Technology today announced a distribution and technology partnership, combining Gorilla's broadcasting leading technology and product with EMC's portfolio of industry-leading storage solutions to help broadcasters take advantage of a more scaleable, flexible, true broadcasting-oriented media asset management infrastructure.

Under the agreement, EMC and Gorilla will extend their partnership, building a professional broadcasting team, for enhancing EMC and Gorilla solution sales, marketing, engineering and customer support in global regions of North America, Asia Pacific Japan, and EMEA. Gorilla will integrate EMC information infrastructure offerings storage solutions with Gorilla's open broadcasting MAM/Archive solutions, for Historical Tape Digitization incorporated with Daily Production. The broadcasting market specific collaboration will assist both parties in specifying mission critical performance, availability and management product requirements for the total broadcasting media asset management infrastructure market opportunity. The result of the efforts will be presented at international broadcasting-specific exhibits, such as NAB, BIRTV, and MEB.
